Introduction 

1. Imperative: Be anxious for nothing (4:6a) 
2. Instruction: but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; (4:6b)
3. Implication: and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (4:7)
